A blouse that is both a perfect basic - and really, not basic at all. Maybe a better work would be "an ideal solid for mixing." Made by B.W. Wragge, a brand known for their mix-and-match collections, it's a lightweight ivory wool crepe. It pulls on over the head, and has a side snap closure. Of course, it's dominated by the incredibly dramatic dolman sleeves, which start deep, and taper to very fitted cuffs that close with snaps. Would be very striking under a vest with low sides, and is bold enough to pair with evening or casual skirts and trousers.

This blouse is has been hand washed and is ready to wear. There are some small areas of darkening/yellowing at the point that folds into the underarm. There is a tiny spot on the center back near the seam. The most significant issue is a frayed oval at the right cuffs, which I have darned with self-fabric from the selvage. It is very sturdy, and won't fray further.
